There are so many places to view beautiful fireworks in Jacksonville, but one of our favorite displays is in downtown Jacksonville over the St. Johns River. The fireworks are viewable from the North and South banks, as well as under the Fuller Warren Bridge, the location of the Riverside Arts Market. The show begins at 9:45 and you don’t want to miss it! Take a look at the handy map provided by the City of Jacksonville for more information about the launch site and viewing areas for the 4th of July Spectacular! Visit their website for more information.

  1. Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens BOGO Tickets!

The Jacksonville Zoo is offering an awesome special on tickets, and it lasts longer than just one day. Grab the family and take a trip to the Zoo July 4-7, where you can see amazing animals like tigers, giraffes, stingrays, and more – and tickets are buy one, get one free! The Zoo also offers a Play Park and Splash Ground for no additional charge. Tickets must be purchased at the gate. Visit their website for more information!

The display will go from the Pier and the Pier parking lot will be open for viewing. Check out the Jacksonville Beach website for more information!

  1. Jax Ale Trail

If you’re looking for something to do before the fireworks at Jacksonville Beach or in Downtown, consider hopping on the Jax Ale Trail! Pick up a Jax Ale Trail Brewery Passport at one of the breweries listed, then visit at least three more to start receiving free Jax Ale Trail gifts, including koozies and more! Start with a few brews in Riverside, Avondale, or Downtown, or head out to the Beaches for breweries within walking distance of the Pier! Add in the wonderful food options, and that sounds like a great Fourth to us!
