Riverside has something called, 5 Points, it’s considered Jacksonville’s arts and commerce district. Built in the 1930s as Jacksonville’s first shopping area outside of Downtown, the trendy 5 Points continues to grow. Ortega Community

The Ortega neighborhood got its start in the early 1900s when J. Pierpont Morgan completed the wooden bridge connecting Ortega to modern-day Avondale. Ortega is located south of downtown Jacksonville on a peninsula off the western bank of the St. Johns River. It is in Duval County and is considered one of the best places to live in Florida. Ortega has many historic homes and buildings still standing today.

Living in Ortega offers residents an urban feel scattered throughout the city and most residents are homeowners. The community is known to have many families and retirees living there and the community tends to lean conservative.
