There is so much to say about Ellis that can't be summed up into a few sentences because he did go above and beyond for us. For instance, my husband and I started looking for a house after recently moving to Florida, which was an unfamiliar area to us at the time. At first, we looked into buying a house in Jacksonville and found a few houses that sparked our interest. Still, after a closer look, it did not seem like the right house we were looking for, between the square footage being too small, the yard not being big enough, or maybe the neighborhood. Finally, Ellis worked with us thoroughly to look for houses that were what we were looking for. He made an effort to work around our schedule for viewings since my husband and I both worked during the day and only had evenings available during the week. When it came to putting bids on houses, he helped us through how to go about the offer, and he always thoroughly checked if the houses were FHA-approved before booking a viewing. He also was extremely flexible with us, explaining what to look for when trying to find a home we were interested in viewing. He was also flexible when setting up appointments to meet another realtor when we decided to look outside of Jacksonville. Finally, we found the house we'd been looking for in Waldo, Florida, and we could not be happier with our decision. He made the process of putting the offer on the house, getting the inspections done on time, making sure the house was clean before we closed, and minor things being replaced. Even with a few setbacks, he made the process much easier than I ever thought it could be when buying a house. From the very first day we talked to Scott, my husband Daniel and I have been truly impressed with his professionalism and kindness. He first got in touch with us to ask us a few questions regarding our expectations in finding a home and to explain to us the details of the home-buying process. When we got interested in a house very far from my husband's work, he kindly made sure we were aware of the long distance to commute everyday and that it would fit our needs in a realistic way on an everyday basis. Then, when we finally found THE house of our dreams, we wrote to Scott at 10pm on a Thursday (because we felt that the house was a very rare opportunity and that we should not wait any minute...) The next morning Scott was already on it and scheduled a video tour for us on the very same day. We wanted to make an offer right away and Scott was amazing in the entire negotiation process. Him and even his lovely wife Jenifer got together with us to discuss the most attractive offer we could come up with, without overpaying for the house. Even though another offer was on its way to the sellers, Scott managed to convince them to consider our offer first. He was back and forth with the sellers' agent all day until the deal was agreed... (on a Sunday!). During the entire process Scott was very responsive: all our questions and concerns were answered within just a few minutes, no matter if it was week days or weekends. I know this sounds corny but Mike really lives up to his last name – Noble. Mike did more behind-the-scenes financial assistance , contractor referrals and actual hands-on cleanup work than I would feel comfortable asking of a good friend, much less a realtor who I have never met face-to-face. My wife and I live 2,000 miles away from our investment property in Jacksonville, but Mike treated us like we were next-door neighbors. We never could have had the success with our house sale if it was not for Mike’s considerable efforts. This was in spite of relatively low sale price and therefor a modest commission.
